Our Story

I was born into a Christian family, where serving people in need was something you just did – it wasn’t done out of duty or works as some call it, it’s just what you did from your heart.

My parents, Ron and Pam Goodwin, founded a Church and Sunday School ministry that still exists to this day. We believe that Loaves ‘n’ Fishes has inherited the blessing from their ministry.

I watched my parent’s ministry miracle after miracle and blessing after blessing, with a faith so grounded in the gospel. And they believed in God for everything.

Loaves ‘n’ Fishes has grown from our garage at home, to now our fourth building, which hosts thousands of household items. We have been blessed over the years to help those most in need with those items – furniture, household goods and clothing.

All of this has been possible because of the love of our Lord Jesus Christ for his children. He has made possible every single move Loaves ‘n’ Fishes has made, he has opened every door and blessed everyone involved exceedingly, helping us more than we could ever thought or even imagined.

With my husband, Pastor Steve Hartland, we have been more than blessed to watch Loaves ‘n’ Fishes grow over the years. To see hundreds of people’s lives transformed just by giving them items to build a home for themselves.
