St Michael’s celebrate their Student Voice

We would like to say a big thank you to St Michael’s Church of England High School and their Student Voice. On Thursday 20th October they hosted a Celebration Evening to recognise the fantastic work they do for the community. St Michael’s believe that consultation with students is integral to nurturing responsible, collaborative and pro-active young people. Engaging students in sharing thoughts, ideas and opinions about teaching and learning, pastoral matters and their school experience as a whole, in turn helps to build their confidence in school structures and procedures.

As part of the event they collected food for our charity, Loaves ‘n’ Fishes. We provide furniture, household essentials and clothing to families and individuals who are living in poverty within our reach. Those whose lives are a struggle due to the hardship that they face daily, having no-one to help. If you would like to donate any items, please contact us.

Thank you so much Student Voice and your School Engagement Development Manager, Kerry Whitehouse. Keep up the excellent work you do!
